All repeat prescription requests should be made in writing. Requests from pharmacies are not accepted however your local pharmacy can still collect and deliver your medication if you wish.
You can now view and request your repeat prescriptions by logging on to a new service on the internet called SystmOnline which allows you to manage your prescriptions quickly and easily wherever you are.
A prescription box is made available in reception for patients to post their requests. We require 48 working hours notice to issue your prescription so please consider this when making your request.
We do not accept repeat prescription requests via telephone (the elderly or patients with no access to the internet or unable to come in are exceptions to this).This allows our phone lines to be free for appointments and emergencies.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
